Hot and Steamy This Week

Headline: Heat and humidity in abundance this week. The July pattern is back in earnest. Add to that the humidity from last week's rain will take us into August.

In the tropics, we still expect to get the development of Tropical Storm Debby by this weekend. Forecast still call for it to head to Florida over the weekend.

What we are tracking: The heat dome will be controlling our weather for most of the week. In fact it will also be working on keeping any tropical activity away from Texas.

Extended Outlook: Just look for a piece of shade  or some air conditioning. Heat Index will be pushing 110 for most of the week. There are no heat advisories for us at this time, but just respect the heat if you are working outdoors.
