Fox News Contributor Shares Laura Loomer Post Claiming Kamala Harris ‘Is NOT BLACK’

Fox News Contributor contributor Leo Terrell retweeted a post from right-wing conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer, who claimed that Vice President Kamala Harris “is NOT BLACK.”
On Wednesday, former President Donald Trump attended the National Association of Black Journalists convention in Chicago in what was a wild affair. During his appearance, Trump claimed that Harris – whose father is Black and mother was Indian – had only recently started to tout her Blackness.
“I didn’t know she was Black until a number of years ago when she happened to turn Black,” he said. “And now she wants to be known as Black. So, I don’t know, is she Indian or is she Black?”
Trump added that Harris “made a turn and she became a Black person.”
The former president’s false claim received pushback from moderator Rachel Scott.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierrecondemned Trump during Wednesday’s press briefing, calling it “repulsive” and “insulting.”
Even some conservative pundits winced at the remark, but naturally, Trump had plenty of people rushing to defend him. That included Loomer, who posted a copy of Harris’s birth certificate on X. The certificate lists her father’s “color or race” as Jamaican. Her mother is listed as Caucasian.
Loomer held this up as evidence that Harris “is a liar.”
“Donald Trump is correct,” she wrote. “Kamala Harris is NOT black and never has been.”
Loomer went on to note that Harris is a descendant of a Scot named Hamilton Brown, who owned slaves in Jamaica.
Terrell seized on the post and quote-tweeted it.
Show it to @PressSec and @rachelvscott,” he said, using the handles for Jean-Pierre and the moderator who sparred with Trump over his comments.
