People are talking about the injuries sustained at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, but surprisingly, they're not all from actual Olympic athletes.

On Monday, Colin Jost shared a graphic photo of his bandaged toes from an injury he sustained while reporting on the Olympic games, and it looked pretty bad.

The Saturday Night Live Weekend Update host was reporting live in Tahiti for the Olympic surfing competition when he, unfortunately, found himself visiting the medical tent more than the athletes.

The waves off the coast of the French Polynesian village of Teahupo'o are considered some of the gnarliest in the world. But the waves are only one reason for the beach's reputation. There's also the extremely shallow coral reef, which became Colin's sworn enemy.

In an interview with NBC Sports' Mike Tirico, Colin explained how he initially sustained the injuries while surfing in Tahiti just before the Olympics officially began. "I did pretty well until the first wave, and then I ended up standing on the coral reef," he said. “Much like the coral reef safety expert, but without coral shoes on. So I got a little scraped up."

"This might ruin my WikiFeet score but I just arrived in Tahiti for the surfing Olympics and the reef was excited to greet me #paris2024 #showfeet," Colin's caption read.

You can see that Colin still wasn't wearing shoes while in Tahiti following the injury.

A few days later, Colin shared another photo of his injured feet with bandages on his toes after apparently developing an infection in his foot. "You know it's going great when you've been to the Olympic medical tent more than any of the athletes," he wrote.

In a recent update with NBC Olympics Late Night host Maria Taylor, Colin was asked how his feet are holding up in "Toe-hiti," aka Tahiti. “Well, I've been visiting the medical tent regularly," he said. "It’s a weird feeling when you’re in the medical tent way more than any of the athletes."

"I feel like the medical staff at this point, they know my name. They're very familiar with my badge, my ID number. They know I'm allergic to penicillin. They started saying we need to see you every day," Colin added, referencing an infection he sustained from his injuries.

Colin's reporting has been chock-full of jokes and silly antics , and following his lead, here are some of the best reactions to his unfiltered feet photos:

"If you can't walk call a toe truck," one user joked.

Another user urged him to stop sharing feet pics. "I will give you money to stop showing your feet. Please," they wrote.

Another person wrote, "I honestly am just waiting to see what Michael Ché will say about this post think because I already know it's gonna be something completely out of pocket and hilarious."

"It's time to swallow your pride and buy water shoes," another person suggested.

Other people joked about how Colin could use it as a good excuse.

And finally, of course, people referenced the infamous WikiFeet website since Colin was sharing his feet so freely.

    Feel better, Colin!
