JEOPARDY! fans are up in arms as the iconic game show’s only online streaming platform abruptly ended its service on Wednesday.

Jeopardy!’s only streaming service abruptly dropped the show on Wednesday Pluto TV Pluto TV’s live Jeopardy! channel is ‘no longer available’ Pluto TV Fans are distraught as the website was the only way to watch the show without cable ABC
Pluto TV is a free, live-stream TV and on-demand video service from Paramount with more than 300 live channels.
Since 2022, one of those channels has been devoted to Jeopardy! , airing reruns from the Alex Trebek era 24/7.
At least, that was the case until Wednesday.
Suddenly, the dedicated channel for Jeopardy! (and for Wheel of Fortune ) stopped working.
The website posted over the live feed, now a black screen, “Jeopardy! hosted by Alex Trebek is no longer available on Pluto TV.”
The timing was particularly sad because the game show is now in its annual summer break , and fans were looking forward to binging Jeopardy! online.
The live feed aired OG episodes that could not be found anywhere else, including Ken Jennings’ original run.
‘MOMENT OF SILENCE’
Fans took to Reddit in shambles over what appeared to be the sudden cancellation of the beloved Jeopardy! service.
“Both Jeopardy and Wheel Of Fortune channels are down,” one Redditor started a thread upon the discovery.
“I’m not sure if this is just temporary or if it’s just down completely, but both Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune just shut down on Pluto TV without any warning.”
“The Jeopardy channel was working just a few hours ago. is anyone else having problems?”
Other fans confirmed that the platform was no longer showing Jeopardy! for them and lamented over what appeared to be the end of the agreement.
One noted, “The original deal for both channels starting back in 2022 was only for two years, so I’m guessing it’s expired; there’s a chance it could move to yet another streaming service, but I hope it stays on Pluto. It’s so much more convenient.”
Another wrote, “I hope it stays on PlutoTV, too. I love watching those reruns for free anytime both on demand and their own channel.”
“A moment of silence, please,” wrote a fourth.
“Yeah, they no longer seem to be available to me. Some heads-up would have been nice to warn us when their deal expired,” wrote a fifth.
“I hope this is just temporary,” wrote a sixth. “I’ll be completely bummed with no Jeopardy.”
“Please no – not when season 40 is ending as well Please don’t let it be!” wrote one more.
The U.S. Sun has contacted Pluto TV for comment to clarify whether its relationship with Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune has fully ended.
That said, a small batch of episodes is still available as an on-demand option on the website.
He simply said about the news: “What is: I’m excited.”
Fans were left divided, and many were disappointed that the game show didn’t choose someone more diverse.
“My thoughts: Fine, sure, whatever. Was Bowen Yang unavailable?” one X user wrote.
A third person wrote on Reddit, “Might as well mic up a loaf of wonder bread and shove it behind a podium.”
“Ugh, I’m not at all a fan. Hopefully, he’ll at least stay out of the game’s way,” wrote a fourth.
The spinoff does not yet have a premiere date but is said to be premiering in early fall.
Other fans speculated that Sony could strike for other Jeopardy! programming to be on Amazon Prime as well.
Later on Wednesday, Colin Jost was announced as the host of Amazon’s Pop Culture Jeopardy! spinoff Jeopardy! Some fans speculated Jeopardy! could work to move old episodes from PlutoTV to Amazon Prime Pluto TV
