Pancakes aren’t the only things flipping in this kitchen.

You don’t have to be Simone Biles to pull off a scintillating floor routine, as one Canadian mom proved by executing some epic gymnastics moves in her kitchen — delighting the more than 22 million viewers who have already watched her putting put the “roll” in “rolling pin” on social media.

“I just pulled out the mat and put on my swimsuit. And I was like, ‘Let’s go,’” Breanne Allarie told Today of her DIY display, posted to Instagram.

The shot glasses weren’t the only tumblers in this kitchen.

The Vancouver-based mother-of-two had been watching clips of the Olympics with her husband Jordan and wondered if she could emulate the athletic maneuvers at home.

“I always have been the type of person that if I see something, I’m like, ‘I could probably do that. I could try it myself,’” Allarie explained. “So I brought up my kids’ mat and I just started doing some tricks.”

The resultant clip, filmed by her beau, shows the amateur acrobat attempting various high-flying stunts, including the handstand, the switch leap and the Shushunova.

The latter move, named after late Soviet gymnast Yelena Shushunova, essentially amounts to a terrestrial belly flop.

“That’s the one where I jump into the air and you pretty much land flat,” Allarie explained. “Everybody was like, ‘Why are you doing a belly flop?’ But it’s actually a legit gymnastics move.”

Instagram viewers were impressed by the freelance Olympian’s performance with one fan writing, “ngl, the switch split was pretty impressive.”

Allarie was inspired after watching clips of the Olympics with her husband Jordan.

“Paris called. The USA gymnastics team’s alternate sprained a toe… YOU’RE UP,” said another.

While Allarie’s routine was certainly admirable, she admitted on Instagram that Olympic-level gymnasts “make it look so much easier than it is.”

That being said, the Canuck is no slouch in the acrobatics department.

“I was in intense gymnastics competitively until I was about 14 years old,” said Allarie. “Originally, I really wanted to go to the Olympics. And then as I got older, I was like, ‘OK, maybe not the Olympics, but a full-ride scholarship.’ That was the goal.”

Unfortunately, the content creator’s dreams of gymnastics glory were dashed after she fractured her back while performing a “tumbling pass” at a competition.

After recovering from the freak injury, Allarie took up dancing, eventually going pro.

And while she quit performing after her children were born, the Vancouverite still loves performing for her over 290,000 followers on Instagram.

Allarie said many commenters dubbed her “brave” for wearing a swimsuit during her Cuisinart-istic routine.

“I think it’s just about me being me,” she said. “And the world can either take it or leave it.”
