After seeing a great deal of successor on Kickstarter, ZPF will be making its way to Switch. Mega Cat Studios actually started the campaign to release its title on the SEGA Genesis / Mega Drive. A modest $15,000 target was planned, but the total currently stands at over $200,000. Switch support was recently confirmed after a stretch goal was met.

ININ Games is bringing XOut: Resurfaced to Switch, the publisher revealed today. The title will be available this winter. X-Out originally released in 1989 for the Commodore 64, and then in 1990 for the Amiga, Atari ST, ZX Spectrum, and Amstrad CPC. It’s a horizonal scrolling shooter set deep beneath the ocean. For this new version of the game, ININ is planning enhanced graphics, updated gameplay, and “even more thrilling new features.”

XOut: Resurfaced announced for Switch

Doot is back with news about the Switch version of Minami Lane, and a release date is now set. The title heads to Nintendo’s console on August 15, 2024. It’s a fairly quick turnaround between reveal and launch for the Switch version of Minami Lane. Doot previously confirmed plans to launch on the console back in June.

After an initial appearance on PC, Worldwalker Games’ title Wildermyth is officially heading to Switch as a new Console Edition. It’ll be appearing on October 22, 2024. Wildermyth was technically confirmed for Switch at the very end of 2021. However, now there’s been an official announcement as part of the “Console Edition”. The turn-based tactical RPG will feature a redesigned UI and controls, plus there’ll be a monster compendium and local cooperative multiplayer.
