Day seven of the Olympics has brought further medals for Team GB in trampolining, rowing, diving and equestrian to continue Great Britain’s excellent start to Paris 2024 .

Emily Craig and Imogen Grant won rowing gold with a dominant performance in the women’s double sculls, moments after Oliver Wynne-Griffith and Thomas George claimed silver in the men’s pair, before Bryony Page – who had won silver and bronze at the previous two Games – finally completed her Olympic set by bouncing to an emotional gold.

Jack Laugher and Anthony Harding successfully made it four medals out of four in the diving for Team GB, while Scott Brash, Ben Maher and Harry Charles secured a surprise equestrian gold in the team showjumping to continue a medal-laden day.

On the opening morning of the athletics, meanwhile, track stars Dina Asher-Smith and team captain Josh Kerr safely made it through their heats. Later, it is France’s Olympic superstars in the spotlight, too, with Judo king Teddy Riner securing a remarkable fourth gold, and Leon Marchand on the hunt for a fourth swimming gold medal of the Games with Ben Proud, Duncan Scott and Tom Dean also in action at La Defense Arena .

An emotional Thursday night saw Andy Murray finally walk away from tennis following his doubles defeat alongside Dan Evans, while Simone Biles added a glorious sixth gold medal to her collection in the individual all-around.
