US Olympic star shares 'disappointing' Tinder experience at Olympic Village in Paris

Team USA rower Emily Delleman has shared her story of her disappointing Tinder escapades inside the Olympic Village. As part of the US Women's Quadruple Sculls crew, Delleman and her squad just missed out on Final A at the Paris Olympics but are set for a comeback in Final B.

Away from the oars, she's heating up the scene by sharing her Tinder tales among the globe-trotting sports stars. The 26-year-ol d took to TikTok to spill the beans about jumping back into the dating scene , excited about the chance to swipe right on other Olympians.

"So, I'm in the Olympic Village right now and so far most things have exceeded my expectations," Delleman remarked. "The food, the vibes, the raw ambience, the fits, it's crazy. Everything but this one thing."

She amusingly shared her musings while lounging on the infamous cardboard beds: "So, I was laying in my cardboard bed the other day, recovering like it's my job, because it is. And I was scrolling through TikTok and I saw the girls saying 'hey, change your geolocation to the Olympic Village, do you want D1 [National Collegiate Athletic Association Division 1] babies? ' and I thought 'oh my gosh, genius'.

"So I start scrolling and scrolling and I'm not seeing any Olympians. I was like okay my settings must be weird. No. I'm like one-mile radius and so far I think I've seen a total of two other Olympians," reports the Express US . "I mean don't get me wrong, you Parisian men are beautiful, chefs kiss like I don't know what they put in the water.

"But you know I went in with the expectations of finding some of my future plot lines but alas I guess we're searching for other forms of entertainment and that's why you're finding me on TikTok."

Despite her somewhat fruitless search on Tinder within the Olympic Village, Delleman certainly caught people's attention online; her TikTok post about the experience has amassed almost four million views.
