    Woman dead after single-car crash in Fairfield County

    CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio ( WCMH ) – A woman is dead after a one-car crash in Fairfield County Wednesday night.

    According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a woman was driving northbound on State Route 674 in Amanda Township at approximately 10:04 p.m. when her 2011 Kia drove off the right side of the roadway.

    The Kia struck a ditch, culvert and overturned onto its side, where the vehicle came to rest over an embankment. Tahrea Maynard, 37, of Ashville, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Fairfield County Coroner’s Office.

    The OSHP continues to investigate as the cause of the crash remains unknown.
