The individual competitions are next, starting with the all-around final Thursday. The top individual gymnasts in the world will compete on the vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise.
Biles is must-watch in the all-around, as is her Team USA teammate and reigning all-around gold medalist Suni Lee. Here's what to know ahead of Thursday's events.
Biles has four more events, starting with the individual all-around event at 12:15 p.m. ET Thursday. After that, she'll compete in the individual finals for vault, floor and balance beam.
At the 2016 Olympic Games, she won gold in the all-around as well as on vault and floor. On the balance beam, Biles took bronze in 2016 and the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. She will not compete in the uneven bars final in Paris.
Simone Biles all-time Olympic medal ranking
Biles could collect another four medals these Games, in the individual all-around, vault, floor exercise, and balance beam events. If she medals in all four events, she would have the second-most Olympic medals by a female gymnast, behind Larisa Latynina (18). Twelve medals would also put her ahead of Allyson Felix's 11 medals. The former track and field star has the most Olympic medals for an American who is not a simmer.
Aug. 5: Balance beam, 6:38 a.m. ET; floor exercise, 8:23 a.m. ET
The uneven bars final is scheduled for Aug. 4 at 9:40 a.m. ET.
