Millionaire ex-prisoner Gypsy Rose Blanchard begs strangers to pay for £500 designer pram after falling pregnant with ex

GYPSY ROSE BLANCHARD has been slammed for begging strangers to buy her a £467 pram, despite her estimated £2.3 million fortune.

The 32-year-old was released from prison in January of this year, after serving a seven-year prison sentence for her involvement in her mother Dee Dee Blanchard's murder.

Gypsy is a victim of Munchausen syndrome by proxy and her mother spent years pretending that she was extremely ill, by forcing her to use a wheelchair that she didn't need and making her use a feeding tube, even though there was nothing wrong with her.

When Gyspy finally found out the truth, she asked her boyfriend at the time, Nicholas Godejohn to murder Dee Dee, a crime for which he is currently serving a life sentence in prison.

Since being released from prison, Gypsy has wasted no time in having all of the experiences that she has missed out on during her life, from going to the beach for the first time to treating herself to a nose job.

And last month, she revealed that she is expecting her first child.

"We're both very excited to take on this new journey of parenthood, and all of the things I wish I could have had when I was growing up", she said, in an emotional YouTube video.

Alongside her pregnancy announcement, Gyspy posted a baby registry to her Instagram story, requesting strangers to buy her incredibly expensive items for her baby, including a £467 pram and a £413 cot.

However, the mum-to-be didn't quite get the reaction that she was expecting and insiders told TMZ that trolls instead used the baby registry to send Gypsy cruel messages.

She quickly set the registry to private, and you are now unable to access it without a password.

Gyspy has been criticised for asking strangers to buy products for her baby, due to the vast amount of wealth she has earned from selling the story of her mother's murder.

She has appeared in various TV series since her release, including The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup, and even featured in the latest series of The Kardashians.

She has also released a memoir, and her net worth is estimated to be £2.3 million.

The father of Gypsy's child is Ken Urker, who wrote to her in prison, after watching a documentary about her.

The pair then began a relationship, with Ken proposing to Gypsy in 2018, before he decided to leave the realtionship.

She may have deleted her first Instagram account, but with over 8 million followers, it's likely Gypsy Rose was raking it in per post.

According to thetab.com, an expert claimed she could have been charging up to £80k for just one sponsored post on her Instagram.

Speaking to the New York Post, Olivia Rudensky added: “With a community that engaged — wanting to listen to the podcasts, wanting to buy the book — Blanchard could be making millions this year.

"She has such a unique built-in audience that wants to hear more and wants more answers, which obviously turns into money."

TIKTOK CREATOR PROGRAMME

TMZ claimed that Gypsy lost out on an estimated £4,500 from TikTok which allegedly went into her ex-husband Ryans’s account.

She's since restarted her account and with such a large following, has the ability to earn hundreds of thousands per year from the social media platform.

TV SHOW AND BOOK

Gypsy Rose is releasing a memoir called My Time to Stand in January 2025 and also has her TV show Life after Lockup coming out.

While the price of the book hasn't yet been revealed, that, combined with the TV show, is sure to be a profitable venture for the 32-year-old.

"He left me and it broke my heart", she said in her prison confessions series.

Gypsy then went on to marry Ryan Anderson, who also sent her a letter after seeing her in a documentary.

The pair got married in prison in 2022, with no guests present, and moved in together when Gypsy got out of jail.

At first, the couple seemed to be enjoying marital bliss, with Gypsy proudly telling the internet that "The D is Fire".

However, their relationship soon soured, and the couple announced their split on April 3rd.

A source told TMZ: "Gypsy has been telling family and friends that her estranged hubby, Ryan Anderson, had become super argumentative post-prison release and was constantly making her feel like she couldn't do anything right."

"Instead of supporting her bond with her father, we're told Gypsy feels like Ryan made her feel guilty about not spending that time with him exclusively."

Soon after this, Gypsy rekindled her romance with Ken and received a positive pregnancy test on May 24th.

She was then forced to confirm the paternity of the baby, after many were left shocked at how quickly she became pregnant after her split from Ryan.

Speaking to Good Morning America, Gypsy said: “It was mid-March when I left Ryan.

"So, this is absolutely 100% Ken’s baby.

"There was never any question of paternity.

“I left Ryan on March 23rd had a period on April 17th.

"I made love with Ken and only him on April 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th and conceived on May 4th.

"I had a positive test on May 24th. Ken is the father."

However, if Gyspy is still legally married to Ryan when her baby is born, in January 2025, she may have to list him as the father on the child's birth certificate.

This is because of an archaic law in the state of Louisiana which dictates that a mother's husband is legally listed as the father of her baby, regardless of whether the couple have been separated.
