9/11 Mastermind, Two Co-Conspirators Strike Plea Deal

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and two others who participated in the planning of the 9/11 attacks have agreed to a plea deal that will spare them the death penalty.

The 9/11 mastermind and his co-conspirators have agreed to plead guilty to the murder of 2,976 people. Instead of being sentenced to death, they will instead spend the rest of their lives in prison.

Many of the 9/11 families are upset with the government's decision to agree to the plea deal, saying they are being robbed of a trial.
