A MUM has revealed how her eyebrows have grown so long that she “could braid them.”

Emily Abraham, from Knightsbridge, London, who previously struggled to get her eyebrows to grow, now relies on her husband to trim them due how long they grow.

Growing up, the businesswoman would have to spend 20 minutes every morning filling her brows in - and even tried semi-permanent makeup and microblading.

She struggled with her brows as a teenager, after accidentally shaving one off.

But last year, the 46 year old, who is a co-founder of a pre-loved designer product store in Knightsbridge, London called Love Luxury, attended The Wimpole Clinic to get a brow transplant procedure done.

The mum-of-five got a transplant procedure on her eyebrows to encourage more hair growth as she felt she was lacking in that area.

Since then the treatment, which costs between £3,000 to £5,000 and took seven hours, has completely changed her life around.

Emily said: "I had an incident when I was in my teens. I lived with my grandma and she didn't allow locks on bathroom doors and she didn't allow me to shave my armpits.

“One day, I was sneakily shaving my left armpit.

“She walked in and I spun my head around and the razor took off half my eyebrow.

"Obviously I thought 'I can't walk around with half an eyebrow' so I had to shave both my eyebrows off.

"From that day on, my eyebrows never grew back the same. I had really nice eyebrows up until that point.

"Then it was the 90s and the fashion was thin eyebrows anyway. What did grow back, I used to pluck super fine.”

After having children, Emily found it affected her hair growth even more so she booked in for a Follicular Unit Transplantation.

The eyebrow transplant involves surgery to reposition the eyebrow and the results can last a lifetime.

The permanent procedure will make your eyebrows appear fuller by helping to replace any hairs that have been lost.

A surgeon will perform this procedure using scraps or hair grafts to replace your current eyebrow hair.

Emily said: "For me, I wanted to leave with brows.

She walked in and I spun my head around and the razor took off half my eyebrow

"At month six, I had full eyebrows. Now I'm a year in and I have the fullest, thickest brows I could ever dream of having.

"My eyebrow hairs are growing at a faster rate than my head hair.

“Ideally I manicure them every week. On social media everyone is always asking what the longest amount of time I can grow them is. Five weeks is the longest I can go.

"It was ridiculous [when I grew them for five weeks]. I could start plaiting them, I could put french braids in my brows - that's how long they were getting. It was so silly."
