The women’s gymnastics all-around final, beginning Thursday at 12:15 p.m. ET, will feature the legendary Simone Biles, who became the most decorated U.S. gymnast in Olympics history Tuesday with her gold medal win in the gymnastics team final , bringing her medal total to eight.

The United States has prevailed in the individual women’s all-around category in every Olympics since 2000.
Also, swimming finals — featuring the women’s 200-meter butterfly, men’s 200-meter backstroke, women’s 200-meter breaststroke and women’s 4×200-meter freestyle relay — begins at 2:30 p.m.
American Ryan Murphy, who won gold in 2016 in the 200-meter backstroke but finished with silver in 2020, looks to reclaim the top spot on the podium.

A part of all but two Olympics since 1896, the sport includes three categories — rifle, pistol and shotgun — not to mention three positions — kneeling, prone (laying down) and standing.
American Vincent Hancock will seek his fourth gold medal in skeet shooting in five Olympics.
