For those unaware, this illness occurs when a gallstone blocks the pancreatic duct, resulting in severe stomach pain, which, if left untreated, can become life-threatening. Thankfully, Janela has sought medical assistance, although it seems like he could be out of the ring for the foreseeable future, with him acknowledging that his August schedule is tentative.

35-year-old Janela was one of Tony Khan’s first signings for AEW, yet after initially receiving push, he would go on to mostly feature on their now defunct YouTube shows. Precisely why this occurred remains unknown, but it’s speculated that Khan didn’t have a spot for him, having hired more prominent names.
