Kenny Pickett Fighting For His Job: Fantasy Stock Down

After Pickett’s second year in the NFL, the young quarterback showed very little promise. In two seasons, he played 25 games, and in 13 of those games, he failed to break into the top 20 QBs. Pickett also only threw for 13 touchdowns while also throwing 13 interceptions. Kenny Pickett lost his job to Mitch Tribusky and then lost the backup role to Mason Rudolph. That is an awful track record to have.

The Steelers decided they had seen enough and moved on from the quarterback, trading him to the Eagles. The Eagles are a far better team to surround a QB with as they improve at almost every offensive position and have a much better offensive coordinator.

However, it is unlikely that Pickett will see the field at all as he is behind superstar Jalen Hurts. If he wants the chance to prove that he is an NFL-capable quarterback, Pickett would need an injury to Hurts. Pickett should not be drafted in any format, such as a redraft. You can hold onto him in two QB dynasty leagues, but if training camp goes poorly for him, you might drop him soon.
