Jackie Young and Lilly King to compete for medals today

PARIS, France. (WEHT)- Tri-State athletes Lilly King and Jackie Young continue their Olympic efforts today as they compete for medals in there respective events.

Lilly King will compete in the 7th lane of the Women’s 200 meter Breaststroke Final after placing third in the second round of the semifinals with a time of 2:23.25, and placing 6th overall for the event. The finals for the 200 meter Breaststroke will take place at around 2:00 p.m. Evansville time.

Jackie Young will also compete today along with the Team USA Women’s Basketball roster. Team USA won their first game against Japan on Monday with a score of 102 to 76. They now play against Belgium in the Group Phase of the competition. That game is scheduled to take place at 2:00 p.m. Evansville time.
