Updated Top 50 classes in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings

July brought a massive wave of commitments as top recruits flew off the board, bolstering recruiting classes across the nation. August is set to bring more fireworks as the next round of blue-chippers near their decisions.

The On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings continue to shift as the upcoming season is right around the corner. The December signing period is quietly lurking, too.

Below are the top 50 classes in the 2025 cycle, per the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings . We break down which programs have the top prospects in the country.

1. Ohio State — 94.054

3 five-stars | 15 four-stars | 6 three-stars | 24 total commits
Top Commit: Houston North Shore Five-Star Plus+ CB Devin Sanchez , No. 4 NATL. (No. 1 CB).

Defensive coordinator Jim Knowles and his staff have gotten busy on the trail this cycle. Of OSU’s 23 commitments, 14 are on that side of the ball and five are in the secondary. Ohio State holds commitments from two of the nation’s top cornerback recruits — Five-Star Plus+ CBs Na’eem Offord and Devin Sanchez . Their class also includes elite linebacker Riley Pettijohn , four-star safety Faheem Delane , four-star EDGE Zahir Mathis , four-star EDGE London Merritt , four-star linebacker Tarvos Alford , four-star cornerback DeShawn Stewart and others.

On the offensive side, OSU has already locked up its quarterback in the class with elite passer Tavien St. Clair . He’s joined by the likes of Toledo (Ohio) Whitmer four-star offensive tackle Carter Lowe , four-star tight end Nate Roberts , four-star wide receiver Quincy Porter and four-star WR De’zie Jones .

Early in June, the Buckeyes struck again offensive side of the ball with four-star athlete Bo Jackson , who is expected to play running back at the next level, and elite wide receiver Quincy Porter .

2. Alabama — 93.665

Top Commit: Denton (Texas) Ryan five-star offensive tackle Ty Haywood , No. 11 NATL. (No. 2 OT)

Alabama’s two highest-rated commits have joined the class in the month of July, and they did it on back-to-back days. Denton (Texas) Ryan five-star offensive tackle Ty Haywood committed to the Tide on July 14, one day after DeBoer landed a pledge from Ackerman (Miss.) Choctaw County five-star wide receiver Caleb Cunningham .

Haywood and Cunningham are just half of the five-star recruits committed to Alabama. In June, the Tide landed Mission Viejo (Calif.) five-star cornerback Dijon Lee and flipped Duncanville (Texas) five-star quarterback Keelon Russell away from SMU.

Additional top-100 pledged for the Crimson Tide include Eastman (Ga.) Dodge County four-star athlete Darrell Johnson , Cincinnati Winton Woods edge rusher Justin Hill , Doylestown (Pa.) Central Bucks East interior offensive lineman Michael Carroll , Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei cornerback Chuck McDonald and Carmel (Calif.) offensive tackle Jackson Lloyd .

3. LSU — 93.210

3 five-stars | 13 four-stars | 3 three-star | 19 total commits
Top Commit: Belleville (Mich.) Five-Star Plus+ QB Bryce Underwood , No. 1 NATL. (No. 1 QB).

Zephyrhills (Fla.) Five-Star Plus+ cornerback DJ Pickett now flanks Belleville (Mich.) Five-Star Plus+ QB Bryce Underwood at the top of LSU’s elite pledge list. Metairie (La.) St. Martin’s Episcopal five-star running back Harlem Berry is also in the mix at the top for Brian Kelly and Co.

The Tigers got off to a hot start early, but have continued to add to their class this summer. In June, four-stars Jesse Harrold and Carius Curne put their names on the commitment list. And July has already seen the additions of four-star defensive linemen Brandon Brown , Damien Shanklin and Zion Williams as well as On300 cornerback Jhase Thomas .

Eight of the 17 future Tigers hail from the state of Louisiana, a recruiting priority for head coach Brian Kelly since he took over. In 2024, LSU signed 13 of the state’s top 17 prospects, including nine of the top 10. Linebackers Keylan Moses and Charles Ross headline the defense alongside the aforementioned defensive line haul.

4. Georgia — 92.590

3 five-stars | 15 four-stars | 3 three-stars | 21 total commits
Top Commit: Warner Robins (Ga.) five-star EDGE Isaiah Gibson , No. 19 NATL. (No. 1 EDGE).

Ellaville (Ga.) Schley County five-star linebacker Zayden Walker joined the class as Georgia’s third five-star in early June. Not long after, Warner Robins (Ga.) five-star EDGE Isaiah Gibson decommitted from USC and joined the fold in Athens. They sit alongside Folkston (Ga.) Camden five-star TE Elyiss Williams at the top of the class.

Recent additions to the class for Georgia include: Bogart (Ga.) Prince Avenue Christian four-star defensive lineman Christian Garrett , four-star offensive lineman Mason Short — a one-time Alabama commit who reopened his recruitment when Nick Saban retired — four-star quarterback Ryan Montgomery and four-star wide receiver/athlete Thomas Blackshear .

Geneva (Ill.) Community four-star receiver Talyn Taylor , the No. 48 overall prospect, joined the class in mid-June. Chester (Va.) Thomas Dale four-star cornerback Shamari Earls flipped from South Carolina to the ‘Dawgs on July 7.

5. Oregon — 92.256

2 five-stars | 11 four-stars | 1 three-star | 14 total commits
Top Commit: Duncanville (Texas) Five-Star Plus+ WR Dakorien Moore , No. 3 NATL. (No. 1 WR).

The final weekend of June saw four big-time commitments for the Ducks, highlighted by a surprise pledge from Conroe (Texas) elite four-star cornerback Dorian Brew . He joined Tampa Bay Tech five-star wide receiver Dallas Wilson at the top of the pack for Dan Lanning and Co. just a week before Duncanville (Texas) Five-Star Plus+ wide receiver Dakorien Moore took over the top spot in the class.

Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei four-star running back Jordon Davison picked the Ducks over the likes of Ohio State, Michigan and Alabama. San Diego (Calif.) Lincoln four-star quarterback Akili Smith Jr. , Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei four-star linebacker Nasir Wyatt and Belleville (Ill.) Althoff Catholic four-star athlete Dierre Hill are all also in the top 175.

Other top commits for the Ducks include Lee’s Summit (Mo.) North four-star receiver Isaiah Mozee , Concord (Calif.) De La Salle four-star defensive lineman Matthew Johnson and Scottsdale (Ariz.) Notre Dame Prep four-star receiver Cooper Perry . Tampa Sumner four-star offensive tackle Ziyare Addison pledged to the Ducks early in June.

6. Auburn — 91.564

Big Cat weekend in late July delivered the goods for the Tigers — who added commitments from four blue-chippers in the 2025 class across 48 hours. Selma (Ala.) Southside four-star athlete Derick Smith and Saraland (Ala.) four-star defensive lineman Antonio Coleman each flipped from Alabama, while Alabaster (Ala.) Thompson four-star safety Anquon Fegans and Baltimore St. Frances four-star CB Blake Woodby also joined.

Auburn made a big splash on June 21 by flipping in-state four-star running back Alvin Henderson away from Penn State. Four-star safety Eric Winters helps headline the class after committing on June 15. Opelika (Ala.) four-star defensive lineman Malik Autry , Highland Home (Ala.) four-star EDGE Jakaleb Faulk and Bixby (Okla.) four-star offensive tackle Broderick Shull are all top-160 recruits.

Birmingham (Ala.) Parker four-star defensive lineman Jourdin Crawford and Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes four-star offensive tackle Tavaris Dice both rank just outside the top 200 overall.

7. Clemson — 91.275

0 five-stars | 10 four-stars | 5 three-stars | 15 total commits
Top Commit: Durham (N.C.) Southern defensive lineman Isaiah Campbell , No. 39 NATL. (No. 4 DL).

Clemson’s 15-man class consists of 10 blue-chip prospects, including a pair of top-50 recruits in Durham (N.C.) Southern defensive lineman Isaiah Campbell and Norfolk (Va.) Maury four-star EDGE Ari Watford .

Eight additional four-star recruits are committed to the Tigers, including the likes of Greensboro (N.C.) Grimsley four-star EDGE Bryce Davis , Cedartown (Ga.) four-star safety Tae Harris , Lynchburg (Va.) Liberty Christian Academy running back Gideon Davidson , Tampa Wiregrass Ranch cornerback Graceson Littleton , Lake City (S.C.) South Florence defensive lineman Amare Adams , Buford (Ga.) offensive tackle Brayden Jacobs and Lawrence (Mass.) Central Catholic quarterback Blake Hebert .

8. Tennessee — 91.238

0 five-stars | 12 four-stars | 9 three-stars | 21 total commits
Top Commit: Nashville Brentwood Academy four-star QB George MacIntyre , No. 50 NATL. (No. 8 QB).

Five top-100 prospects are now in the mix for the Vols this cycle following the addition of Lyons (Ga.) Toombs County four-star safety Lagonza Hayward , and four-star tight end Dasaahn Brame sits just outside as the No. 101 overall prospect in the class.

Nashville (Tenn.) Brentwood Academy four-star quarterback George MacIntyre remains the top pledge in the class and continued to play lead recruiter for the Vols. Now the No. 8 QB in the nation, the gunslinger is also the No. 1 player in Tennessee.

Las Vegas Bishop Gorman four-star interior offensive lineman Douglas Utu and Elkhart (Ind.) Central four-star EDGE Mariyon Dye highlight the six June additions for UT. Both are top-100 recruits, while Somerville (N.J.) four-star EDGE Jayden Loftin and Dandridge (Tenn.) Jefferson County four-star IOL Nic Moore also pledged last month.

Other top commits in Tennessee’s class include: Atlanta Westlake four-star wide receiver Travis Smith and Covington (Ga.) Eastside four-star linebacker Christian Gass , Nashville Ensworth four-star defensive lineman Ethan Utley , Memphis Sheffield four-star WR Radarious Jackson and Southlake (Texas) Carroll four-star tight end Jack Van Dorselaer .

9. Florida State — 91.155

1 five-star | 10 four-stars | 2 three-stars | 13 total commits
Top Commit: Jacksonville Raines five-star IOL Solomon Thomas , No. 13 NATL. (No. 1 IOL).

Jacksonville Raines five-star interior offensive lineman Solomon Thomas remains the headline pledge in the class. Warner Robins (Ga.) Houston County four-star IOL Peyton Joseph now joins Thomas in the trenches following his July 4 commitment.

Jacksonville Mandarin four-star quarterback pledge Tramell Jones has continued to see his stock rise and is now the No. 21 QB in the nation. The Elite 11 finalist has been committed to FSU since April 1, 2023. Omaha (Neb.) Millard South four-star tight end Chase Loftin joined the class at the end of June and is also a top-300 recruit. Milton (Ga.) four-star WR CJ Wiley is a top-100 recruit who joined in a twist this summer.

Cocoa (Fla.) four-star EDGE Javion Hilson is the centerpiece pledge on the defensive side of the ball, currently checking in as the No. 40 prospect and No. 3 EDGE in the nation. He’s flanked on the defensive front by Port Charlotte (Fla.) four-star defensive lineman Myron Charles and Greensboro (Ga.) Greene County four-star DL Kevin Wynn , a pair of top-150 pledges.

10. Texas A&M — 91.102

1 five-stars | 12 four-stars | 6 three-stars | 19 total commits
Top Commit: Corona (Calif.) Centennial five-star QB Husan Longstreet , No. 25 NATL. (No. 4 QB).

Corona (Calif.) Centennial five-star quarterback Husan Longstreet committed on April 14 and is a centerpiece addition for Elko and Co. Longstreet headlines the four Golden State standouts in the A&M class.

Lancaster (Calif.) Quartz Hill four-star cornerback Adonyss Currie is one of three CBs in the class. La Verne (Calif.) Bonita four-star linebacker Noah Mikhail recently joined the class following a June 30 decision. With Mikhail’s commitment, A&M now has three of the top 10 players in California on its pledge list. The Aggies also added a pledge from Danville (Calif.) San Ramon Valley four-star EDGE Marco Jones in early July.

DeSoto (Texas) four-star running back Deondrae Riden provided an early recruiting boost with his commitment in February. Other top commits include Pearland (Texas) Shadow Creek four-star CB Cobey Sellers and Denton (Texas) Ryan four-star interior offensive lineman Marcus Garcia .

11. Notre Dame — 91.025

Top Commit: Lucedale (Miss.) George County four-star QB Deuce Knight , No. 38 NATL. (No. 7 QB).

Wallingford (Conn.) Choate Rosemary Hall four-star offensive tackle Will Black continues to rise in the rankings and is now On3’s No. 2 overall prospect. The 21-man class consists of 12 blue-chip prospects, including elite quarterback Lucedale (Miss.) George County four-star Deuce Knight .

Indianapolis Ben Davis four-star cornerback Mark Zackery and Chicago Simeon four-star EDGE Christopher Burgess both check in just outside the top 100 overall.

Tampa Berkeley Prep four-star safety Dallas Golden committed in late April. Green Bay (Wis.) Notre Dame De La Baie tight end James Flanigan also ranks inside the top 200 of the On3 Industry Ranking. Winston Salem (N.C.) Mount Tabor four-star safety JaDon Blair is the latest to join the Irish class, having pledged on July 5.

12. Miami — 90.973

Top Commit: Jacksonville Mandarin four-star SAF Hylton Stubbs , No. 55 NATL. (No. 4 SAF).

The four highest-ranked commitments in the class have joined in July. Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy four-star linebacker Gavin Nix pledged on July 1 and was followed by Jacksonville Mandarin four-star safety Hylton Stubbs three days later. Las Vegas Bishop Gorman top-100 interior offensive lineman SJ Alofaituli and New Iberia (La.) Westgate top-100 cornerback Jaboree Antoine are the newest additions to the class.

Miami added eight commits in June — four of whom are four-stars. Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna four-star cornerback Chris Ewald headlines that group of commits. Miami Central four-star safety Amari Wallace , Sanford (Fla.) Seminole four-star interior offensive lineman Max Buchanan and Savannah (Ga.) Benedictine Military four-star EDGE Herbert Scroggins helped make a splash last month.

Tampa Armwood four-star running back Girard Pringle announced his commitment at the end of March. Kissimmee (Fla.) Osceola four-star linebacker Elijah Melendez , Leo (Ind.) four-star tight end Brock Schott , four-star tight end Luka Gilbert and Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton four-star quarterback Luke Nickel round out Miami’s list of blue-chippers.

13. Oklahoma — 90.541

0 five-stars | 13 four-stars | 9 three-stars | 22 total commits
Top Commit: Cypress (Texas) Bridgeland four-star OT Ryan Fodje , No. 90 NATL. (No. 8 OT).

Co-offensive coordinator Seth Littrell has his quarterback with four-star Kevin Sperry out of the Oklahoma City area. His pledge has helped spur on a string of receiver commitments, led by in-state four-star Elijah Thomas and Texas-based three-star Gracen Harris . The Sooners added another key piece to the puzzle on March 29 with the addition of four-star running back Tory Blaylock .

On the defensive side, the Sooners nabbed three early commitments from linebacker Marcus James , EDGE Alexander Shieldnight and defensive lineman Ka’Mori Moore . They added to that in a big way in April, landing commitments from four-star defensive lineman Trent Wilson , three-star cornerback Maliek Hawkins , and four-star safety Marcus Wimberly .

June saw the additions of four-star athlete CJ Nickson and offensive lineman Darius Afalava , and four-star wide receivers Emmanuel Choice and Marcus Harris also put their names on the commit list. And July kicked off with a major bang as the Sooners beat out Florida, LSU and more for four-star wideout Cortez Mills .

14. Michigan — 90.501

Top Commit: Oak Park (Ill.) Fenwick four-star defensive lineman Nate Marshall , No. 54 NATL. (No. 5 DL).

Oak Park (Ill.) Fenwick four-star defensive lineman Nate Marshall has headlined the defending champs’ class since he committed in April.

Winter Garden (Fla.) West Orange four-star safety Ivan Taylor flipped his commitment from Notre Dame to Michigan earlier this week. They are joined in the top 150 by Center Valley (Pa.) Southern Lehigh four-star tight end Andrew Olesh and Montgomery Village (Md.) Gonzaga four-star safety Kainoa Winston .

Fort Myers (Fla.) Bishop Verot four-star quarterback Carter Smith is the signal-caller for the class and pledged to U-M last November.

15. Texas — 90.329

Steve Sarkisian’s class features a bevy of top in-state prospects, as 11 of the 16 commits hail from Texas. That includes five top-200 recruits: Texarkana (Texas) Pleasant Grove four-star EDGE Lance Jackson , Houston Alief Hastings four-star EDGE Smith Orogbo , Dallas Skyline four-star linebacker Elijah Barnes , Spring (Texas) Dekaney four-star tight end Nick Townsend and Missouri City (Texas) Hightower four-star cornerback Kade Phillips .

Saraland (Ala.) K.J. Lacey is the nation’s No. 9 QB, while Shreveport (La.) Calvary Baptist four-star running back James Simon is a top-15 RB. The Longhorns currently have the No. 14 class in the nation.
