Bachelorette Suitor Devin Strader Has Former Star Rachel Recchia Seeing ‘Red Flags’

Rachel Recchia is no fan of Devin Strader on The Bachelorette Season 21. In fact, she couldn’t help but draw comparisons to her ex, Tino Franco . Longtime fans know that it was over for Rachel and Tino after he kissed another woman. Jenn Tran might face a similar oncoming heartbreak with Devin.

Devin already had fans quite divided as viewers couldn’t gauge his authenticity. But things only got worse as controversy erupted over his previous online presence. Fans found him using the n-word and spreading 9/11 conspiracy theories, among other things. Rachel must’ve felt justified in being wary of the guy.

Here’s why Devin gave Rachel “the ick”

On the July 23 episode of the Almost Famous podcast, Rachel made her thoughts about Jenn’s suitors absolutely clear. “I think a lot of these guys to me are a little hard to watch at times. I think they’re a little cringe.” Rachel said that Devin in particular was “giving [her] the ick” with his “winner mindset and this, ‘that’s my wife’” attitude.

She continued, “This is week two, you’re telling other guys, it just is giving the same sort of vibe for me.” Rachel also slammed Devin for “This sense of confidence that he’s throwing around, I feel like that’s what’s really getting under the guys’ skin. But I think at this point, I’m over … Devin a little bit.” She further asserted that even the other men didn’t like Devin.

Granted, Rachel confessed that not a single contestant left a good impression on her at first. However, Devin was a special case. “I think there’s something about Devin that really throws up red flags for me because he reminds me a lot of Tino.” Oof. Not a flattering way to paint Devin. Seeing as Jenn has other things to worry about , here’s hoping she cuts Devin out soon.
