Outlander's famous filming location, Devil's Pulpit in Stirlingshire, has been left in a sorry state , reportedly spoiled by 'selfish' visitors who scattered trash and drug remnants around the scenic landmark.

Located merely 30 minutes from Glasgow, Scotland , this popular tourist haunt is presently on the market. It's graced the silver screen in high-profile movies such as Detective Pikachu, King Arthur, and The Eagle, elevating its fame chiefly after featuring in Outlander's debut series .

Authorities were alerted to the hazardous waste situation at Finnich Glen, commonly referred to as the Devil's Pulpit. A dismayed tour guide recounted to Glasgow Live his frustration upon discovering the debris, suspected to be hurled from the nearby A809 bridge into the glen.

He expressed: "We are part of various users who take groups into the gorge to show them the amazing beauty and educate them about protecting such places. This selfish behavior directly affects everybody including us as a commercial provider."

Police Scotland's representative provided a statement saying: "We received a report around 5.50pm on Thursday, 25 July, of rubbish and possible drug paraphernalia being found near the A809 at Finnich Glen. Advice and guidance were given to the reporter."

Lastly, Stirling Council clarified that the property is privately held and falls outside their stewardship. Just a short distance from Drymen, you'll find the once-mysterious Devil's Pulpit, a remarkable geological feature at the heart of Finnich Glen.

This spot is steeped in folklore , with stories of the devil preaching to his followers against a backdrop of blood-red waters. It was once considered a must-visit location for those looking for a bit of relaxation after a day of exploring.
