Cardi B has revealed she’s expecting again, hours after filing for divorce from Offset.

In an Instagram post shared Thursday, the rapper showed off her baby bump in a photo shoot. In her caption, she seemed to suggest that her marriage might be over, writing, “With every ending comes a new beginning!”
Cardi B then directed her message to her unborn baby, writing, “I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all!”
She continued, “You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!”
The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Cardi B filed for divorce, with her rep telling The Associated Press that her decision to divorce Offset “is not based on any one particular incident, it has been a long time coming and is amicable.” Sources close to the former couple told Page Six and TMZ that the main reason behind their divorce is because the pair has “grown apart.” According to Page Six , Cardi B is seeking primary custody of their children.
The news of Cardi B’s divorce filing comes days after Instagram account IG Model Tea Room shared a photo of Offset spotted at a casino with his ex, Big PrettyRedz. The picture sparked rumors of Offset cheating but the rapper denied this in an Instagram Live video, saying, “Shorty ain’t my shorty.”

When celebrity gossip account The Neighborhood Talk shared the Instagram Live clip , Offset commented under the video, “People really need to do the research … I’m at a public place gambling at a casino with a married 8 month pregnant woman wtf I look like being outside publicly cheating SMD!!!” His comments from Wednesday indicated that he was having a third child with his spouse.
This isn’t the first time Cardi B has tried to end her marriage to Offset. In September 2020, she filed for divorce. At the time, the Grammy-winning artist took to OnlyFans , sharing in a video, “I didn’t wait until he cheated on me again. I didn’t wait [for] another controversy with him being involved. I decided to leave. If I wanted to stay, I could have stayed. I decided to leave.”
The couple reconciled after Offset promised to work on his faults. “The main thing that I wanted him to stop and everything, he stopped and he changed, and it showed me that he wanted to change for me,” she said on The Jason Lee Show in January 2023.
In December 2023, Cardi B revealed she and Offset had called it quits, telling fans on Instagram Live, “I’ve been single for a minute now … I want to start 2024 fresh.” However, they appeared to be back on when they were spotted together at a Met Gala afterparty in May.
She also confirmed they were working on their marriage again in a Rolling Stone profile published that month, saying, “We think it through, because we do love each other. It’s not even about love. We’re best friends. And it’s like, ‘OK. Well, there was a time that I didn’t have a best friend, or I didn’t have a support system.’ It’s not even about ‘How do you leave a partner?’ How do you stop talking to your best friend?”
