Drumming prodigy Nandi Bushell has released a children’s book detailing her amazing journey so far, as well as basic drum skills for kids to learn. The illustrated 40-page publication, titled The Life-Changing Magic of Drumming: A Beginner’s Guide by Musician Nandi Bushell , is available to order now from Amazon .

Along with step-by-step drumming tips, the book spotlights big events in Nandi’s life, like performing with Lenny Kravitz and engaging in a drum battle with Dave Gohl. It also mentions Nandi’s original song “The Shadows,” explaining she wrote it for her dad when he was battling depression.

A full description of the book, which was illustrated by Andrea Stegmaier, reads: “Find out how Nandi Bushell — the young drummer who has played with the Foo Fighters — discovered drumming when she was just five years old.
