5 0 Cent never takes issue with freely speaking about his contemporaries, but usually, they’re the subject of his latest social media post.

But his latest hot takes came in the form of a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter , in which he took shots at one of his favorite punching bags in the last few months: Diddy .

Since late 2023 –when Cassie Ventura filed a lawsuit against him alleging sex trafficking, rape, and outright abuse– the former mogul has been fighting mounting lawsuits accusing him of sexual abuse and even a video that showed him striking Ventura in a hotel hallway.

50 was one of the first stars to speak on Diddy’s legal and moral woes and vowed to create a documentary about the fallen star. In the THR interview, 50 explained why he was never at Diddy’s parties, citing his artistry.

“I didn’t ever party or hang out with him. Puff is a businessperson; when (people call him) a producer, I see people that were taken advantage of, who produced things that he took from them,” 50 Cent said. “He got the credit. He’s not a producer. He’s been able to take advantage of the business and the creatives in it. I don’t have any interest in doing that. I actually fall under the creative. So I just didn’t take to hanging out with that.”

However, Diddy wasn’t the only label founder 50 spoke candidly about; he also made some remarks about Jay-Z and his wife.

The Queens-born rapper says Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label tried to ban him from performing at the 2022 Super Bowl Halftime Show . Roc Nation’s plans would have gone without a hitch, except Eminem refused to perform if 50 couldn’t share the stage with him.

“Eminem wouldn’t do it without me,” he remembered. “That’s how I ended up on the show because he was not coming if I didn’t do it. When that happens, you go, ‘Damn, so you just lost Eminem because you didn’t bring 50? Damn. All right. Bring 50 then.’ But if it was up to them, they would not have me there. I’m the surprise. I’m not on the bill at all. But they couldn’t get Em to do it without me.”

And when it came to Beyoncé , he commented on her 32 Grammys while claiming the award show has “zero value.”

“I don’t know who’s voting in that sh-t. It’s crazy,” he said. “Whoever they are, they’re off at Beyoncé’s house because she has 30 of them.”
