Whenever Target drops a new style on their site, it's very apparent to us which items are likely to sell fast. We've been keeping an eye on the latest arrivals, and found a pair of flats that we think will take off very soon.

These $25 woven ballet flats from Universal Thread are so chic, so sophisticated, and in the running to be one of Target's bestselling shoes of the year. Their upscale design made us think that they look like a designer pair, and in fact, we found a comparable flat that looks very similar, but cost 14x as much.

If you love the look of classic ballet flats but want to find an alternative for the style, this woven pair is an incredible choice. They feature a similar shape to your classic ballet shoe, but instead of a rounded toe they have a modern square-toe design that we absolutely adore.

The most prominent and standout detail, however, is the woven faux leather that makes up the majority of the shoe. This gives the flats a great textural look, and can also help the material feel more comfortable and flexible for walking around in.

Because of this woven design, we immediately thought that these ballet flats could pass for a designer style, and found a similar pair from Freda Salvador that looks remarkably similar. Despite some minute design differences, they both share the woven pattern that we fell in love with at first sight.

Where the high-end style has the advantage is that they're made from genuine leather, whereas the Target flats are made from faux leather. That being said, both are equally as gorgeous, and if you go for the more affordable option, you're obviously saving a lot more money. Target's latest drops have been seriously impressing us — and these shoes are no exception . We have a feeling that shoppers will flock to them fast, so grab your size now before they're out of stock.
