Joe Burrow Is The Slim Shady Of Fantasy Football

Burrow is one of the most elite quarterbacks to come into the league in recent years, producing far above-average numbers in most of his games. Last season, Burrow suffered a calf injury in the preseason, which forced him to have a slow start as he tried to get back to 100% health.

In the first four weeks of the season, Burrow failed to be within the top 20 QBs. However, in the next 5 weeks, he looked like the QB we are all used to seeing, having a top-10 finish in 4 of the 5 weeks. Burrow then suffered a wrist injury in week 11 that forced him to get season-ending surgery. The Bengals arguably have one of the best WR1-2 combinations throughout the league between Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.

Tyler Boyd did depart from the team this offseason, but the Bengals have solid situational receivers behind Higgins and Chase. Burrow has always been a solid fantasy option, not just because of his talent but also because of the amount of passing volume he has, which gives him plenty of opportunities. In 2023, he was on pace for 620 attempts; in 2022, he had 606 attempts. With Burrow being fully healthy for the upcoming season, it would be no surprise to see him hit these numbers once again. Burrow, once again, should be one of your top options at QB in the 2024 season.

Our consensus projections for Burrow in the 2024 season would be 430 completions, 5134 yards, 35 touchdowns, 11 interceptions through the air, 29 carries for 101 yards, and 2 rushing touchdowns.
