After several hours of critical treatment, the doctor reveals that although Ji-Hwan has survived, he has slipped into a coma. The doctor further informs everyone that it is hard to tell when he will wake up or whether he will wake up at all. Thus, Ji-Hwan’s loved ones are heartbroken and go into a state of misery.

However, Eun-Ha tries to stay vital for everyone. She encourages the others to return to work to make their boss happy. She stays right by Ji-Hwan’s side for days and takes care of him. Although she tries to hide it, she is in a lot of pain to see Ji-Hwan not waking up from the coma.

Later in My Sweet Mobster episode 16, viewers see Seo Ji-Hwan finally gaining consciousness after a long time. Everyone is ecstatic to hear the news. Towards the end of the episode, Seo Ji-Hwan finally comes up with the perfect setting for a proposal and asks Eun-Ha to let him be in her life forever. Eun-Ha says yes, and the two get engaged.
