    Dane County Sheriff's Office welcomes 8 new deputies

    MADISON, Wis. -- Eight new deputies will join Dane County Sheriff's Office Thursday.

    Dane County Sheriff's Office said the following deputies will be sworn in at the courthouse.

    • Michael R. Holes, 30 of Edgerton
    • Steven Islas 22, of Waukesha
    • Matthew Krueger, 50 of Neshkoro
    • Daniel Kurth, 31 of Monroe
    • Alejandro Marin Gomez, 21 of Madison
    • Anthony Moreno, 23 of Montgomery IL.
    • Willie Vance-Jenkins, 31 of Janesville
    • Kyle Write, 25 of Oshkosh

    New deputies will attend the Dane County Sheriff's Office/and or law enforcement academies and receive on-the-job-training.

    Their first assignment will be in the Dane County Jail, where they will serve a two-year probationary period.

    The positions become available due to retirements and vacancies which occurred in the past year.
