STANFORD, Conn. (WTAJ) — World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and parent company TKO have announced a first-ever for Survivor Series War Games in November.

WWE, part of the TKO Holdings Group, announced , along with Destination Vancouver, that WWE Survivor Series War Games will take place for the first time ever in Canada on Saturday, Nov. 30.

The announcement comes after a record-breaking Money In The Bank PLE (Premium Live Event) that took place in July in Toronto, Canada. It became the highest-grossing event in Canada for WWE.

Many fans speculate that Wargames 2024 will be a real “civil war,” pitting Bloodline vs Bloodline in the realm of Roman Reigns returning to in-ring action with the Usos to take on the new “Tribal Chief” Solo Sikoa and his version of the Bloodline, featuring Toma Tonga and Jacob Fatu.

The match stems from the late ’80s and early ’90s when the National Wrestling Alliance and WCW held the double ring cage match to settle massive feuds. Traditionally, Wargames pits a team of 4 or 5 against another team of 4 or 5. It happens in two wrestling rings which are surrounded in a steel fence-type cage. The match starts with two of the men fighting and at predetermined times, a member of the alternating team gets to enter the match. There cannot be a winner until every person is inside of the cage.
