DALLAS (KDAF) — Three in four Americans experience financial hangovers — or the dread of checking bank accounts after a night out — but a nationwide survey revealed more of Americans’ spending habits and common regrets.

Texas ranks sixth for most financial hangovers in the US, according to 80.4% of respondents. Texans wait 1.7 days after a night out to check their bank account, and 85% regret their spending decisions the morning after. Food is the main culprit in night out spending, according to 44.9%.
