We continue into another day of some clouds and rain, but hopefully today will have more peaks of sun than yesterday. Cloudy for most of the day with some periodic sun. High of 84 degrees, and decently windy with winds around 15 mph. A passing shower throughout the day is possible, but a line of storms will come through tonight at some point. Timing is tough, as the models are contradicting one another. But, there will definitely be a line of more organized storms to come through between 8 pm and midnight.

The scorching heat is expected to continue through the end of an already sweltering summer, according to NOAA’s latest climate forecast for August 2024.

NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center issued its 30-day outlook for August – the final full month of summer – and it looks like Americans are in for much of the same above-average heat that has dominated this summer so far.
