Simone Biles was the star of the show once again as she powered to her second victory in three days.

The 27-year-old gymnast added gymnastics individual all-around glory to her team success at the Bercy Arena.

And Biles’ victory sparked a gold rush for Team USA with three Olympic victories in the space of an hour.

Kate Douglass followed Biles by winning gold in the women’s 200m breaststroke in swimming .

“I feel like this is a long time coming,” Douglas told NBC.

“I felt I was physically ready with what I’ve done in practice the last two months.

“I knew if I executed my race I would win.”

And moments later, America won the women’s foil team fencing competition.

The day began in Paris with the men’s four rowing team winning America’s first gold in the event in 64 years

Sunisa Lee also collected a bronze in the individual gymnastics all-around competition which Biles won.

Also in the pool, Regan Smith came second behind Canada’s Summer McIntosh in the women’s 200m butterfly to win a silver for the US.

While the women’s 4x200m freestyle swimming team finished second behind Australia, who managed an Olympic record time of 7:38:08.

“We’re coming world, we’re coming,” one fan wrote on X , formerly known as Twitter.

    “USA rage begins,” another said.

“Let’s go. Keep collecting these gold medals USA,” another urged.

Simone Biles' first coach Aimee Boorman exclusively told The U.S. Sun that she thinks Biles will be spurred by a new role this year.

“Having younger teammates benefits her because she has stepped in as the mother hen figure,” said Aimee.

“And so she has to tell them to stay calm. You’ve got this. You’re prepared. And so as she’s saying it, she’s also hearing it.

“You always have tiny kids that come into the gym, but they’re never ripped like Simone was,” she said.

“I know she was very self-conscious about it growing up. But from a coaching perspective, it was great.

“I didn’t think that Simone would be a multi gold medal athlete straight away.

“But she did stand out because she was very tiny, but very muscular.”

While one more commented, “People worried of lack of golds, just getting started plus basketball and track.”

USA surged up from seventh to second in the gold medal table behind China on 11.

But the American side still led the way on the overall tally with 36.
