The Bold and the Beautiful fans appalled by Poppy’s 'ridiculous' scream in 'chemistry-less scene'

The Bold and the Beautiful has a new scream queen in town.

The episode began with Poppy and Bill making out with each other in the bedroom. As this was happening, viewers could see there was an unknown figure in the home. It played like a horror movie as we followed the perspective of the unknown person navigating Bill's home until they finally got to the bedroom where Poppy and Bill were beginning to get intimate .

The door opened slightly and Poppy started screaming her head off in a terrifying way. They were both in states of undress with Bill shirtless and Poppy still in her jeans and button down which was open, exposing her lacy dark blue bra.

Before the show went on its first commercial break, the scene goes from screaming Poppy to a shot of the exterior of the house as her blood-curdling screams echoed. For many fans of the CBS show, the 'ridiculous' scream was unnecessary for the reveal. They felt Poppy was screaming like she saw an iconic horror movie villain such as Michael Myers or Jason Voorhees

One fan on X formerly wrote: "The way Poppy screamed. Unless the person is holding a knife that’s ridiculous. Especially since it’s probably Will." A second fan said: "Why did Poppy scream like she's in Friday the 13th when she saw a teenager? This show is so corny. I am tired of the chemistry-less scenes with this chick and clueless Bill." Another said: "Poppy sure has a set of lungs on her." A fourth fan said: "Dang Poppy screaming like she seen Jason Voorhees coming in"

The show revealed the person walking around was not a serial killer, which has been a concern as many characters are trying to figure out the mystery of who killed Tom and Hollis. It was Bill's teenage son, Will Spencer. He shares Will with Katie. Will is now being portrayed by acting newcomer Crew Morrow. He is the son of veteran soap star Joshua Morrow. Joshua is from another iconic CBS soap Young and the Restless in which he plays Nick Newman.

While Poppy was catching her breath after the reveal and Bill flooded with relief, Will, on the other hand, was not happy to walk in on his dad getting frisky with another woman. Will seems to want Bill and Katie back together but still didn't want to see them in this way. He asked his dad if his mother "was completely out the picture" since he thought Bill was hoping to rekindle with her.
