Simone Biles sealed her title as the best gymnast in the world after winning the all-around gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. She's the only gymnast in U.S. history to win the individual title twice, and the only person in the world to do it eight years apart.

Biles' return to gymnastics following her devastating run at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and nearly two-year break from competition, is nothing short of amazing. Helping Biles remain mentally grounded and confident in Paris, the support of her husband, Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens.

Owens, who couldn't attend the Tokyo games due to COVID restrictions, received an excused absence from Bears training camp to watch her compete in person Paris. Following Biles' historic performance, her six Olympic gold medals is the most ever won by a U.S. gymnast, male or female -- Owens posted a two-word message that truly summed up his wife's incredible feat.

    "The greatest," Owens wrote.

After Biles scored a 15.066 on her floor exercise in the all-around final, clinching her spot atop the podium, she found Owens in the crowd at the Bercy Arena. Their special moment, captured by NBC's cameras, quickly went viral on social media.

Having Owens cheer her on in person was crucial for Biles, as the couple share a special ritual before each apparatus.

Before each event -- the uneven bars, beam, floor, and vault -- he helps his wife mentally prepare. Owens explained to Bears reporter Gabby Hadjuk that Biles finds Owens in the crowd and they lock eyes, a ritual that calms both his wife and himself.

The 29-year-old safety makes it easy for Biles to find him in the crowd, as he always sits with her family. Out of superstition, they also always sit in the same order.

During the all-around final, Biles performed the Yurchenko double pike on vault, also known as the "Biles II," catapulting the veteran to first place with a  15.766 score. The 27-year-old then made a huge error on the uneven bars, which temporarily put Biles in third place after earning a 13.733 score.

However, Biles bounced back with a phenomenal beam routine. She earned a standing ovation after performing her signature dismount, scoring a 14.566.

Biles finished with an overall score of 59.131. Brazil's Rebeca Andrade won silver while Team USA's Suni Lee earned bronze.
