Bills Star Shares Brutally Honest Opinion Of How Stefon Diggs Held The Team Back

Several Buffalo Bills players have gone out of their way to let everyone know the atmosphere in the locker room is significantly better this offseason after having gotten rid of All-Pro receiver Stefon Diggs.

Second-year tight end Dalton Kincaid is the latest to speak him mind about the situation, hinting to Kay Adams on FanDuel’s “Up & Adams” that Diggs may have contributed to the toxicity of the locker-room atmosphere last season.

“I think we’re just all feeling pretty good, the offense is in a good spot right now, the vibes are high, everyone is pretty selfless right now and I think that’s the vibe going into the season,” Kincaid said . “I’m not saying [that wasn’t the vibe last year] but I think everyone is just feeling really good right now.”

While Kincaid didn’t name-drop Diggs, who was traded to the Houston Texans before the 2024 draft for a second-round pick, by any means, it’s clear exactly who he was referencing with his remarks.

Offensive tackle Dion Dawkins mentioned a similar change in the atmosphere around the Bills facility a few weeks ago while discussing the changes he’s seen, specifically with quarterback Josh Allen.

“I've actually seen the bark a lot more this OTAs where [Allen has] been very, very verbal, because [the makeup of] our team is different,” Dawkins said.
