Dogs are so smart, sometimes, we really don't give them enough credit. Just ask Titus the Pomeranian, whose determination to win hide-and-seek gets him the ultimate prize—a treat!
The late July TikTok video posted by @tituspom shows the view from Titus's angle as he deducts his way to Dad's hiding spot. Watch the little smartie totally crush it!
In the video captioned, "Will Titus be able to find me this time?" the little Pom starts off with a harness and camera strapped on so viewers can see his unique POV. After Dad gives him the go-ahead, Titus tippy-taps his way to different house locations.
"Homie thinks I'd hide in the closet again!" Dad said from his secret place behind the bed.
Titus wanders to the kitchen, the hallway, and bedroom to no avail. But alas! This is when he hears his dad's sniffles echoing through. For the duration of the more than 3-minute clip, the pup finally decides the bedroom is the hot spot so he hops into the bed and boom—there's Dad! It may have taken awhile, but the little guy's brain was connecting the dots the whole way through. In the end, he's rewarded with a treat (and rightfully so).
Titus is so beloved, and not only for his adorable black-and-white Panda looks, but for his intelligence.
"OMG Titus is so adorable!!! I was giggling and smiling watching him look for you," one person wrote. "How he stops to listen is so cute," another said. "This is the BEST thing I've ever seen on TikTok," another added, and we have to agree!
Though this isn't the first time the pair have played this intense game, it's definitely one for the books!

Hide-and-Seek Can Help With Training Your Dog
As fun as hide-and-seek can be, it's also a great training tool . West Suburban Humane Society says the game helps your dog learn through mental stimulation. This is because it requires them to use their brain in ways they don't normally do by thinking critically and using their ears and nose to help with clues.
The key is to start with easy games so they win and build confidence then gradually making the hiding places harder. When they're stumped, you can call out their name to keep them interested. However you play, it's a great game for growing their brain which is important for their development. So, have fun and get hiding!
