Washington County Fair kicks off August 10

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Pa. (WTRF) – A 226-year-old Pennsylvania tradition is about to return for 2024.

The Washington County Agricultural Fair will begin on August 10th and will run until the 17th.

The Fair dates back to 1798, and will feature nearly 2000 animals and 2,600 agricultural exhibits.
There is also a wide swath of great entertainment, including magic shows, a petting zoo and harness racing.

The Washington County Fairgrounds have also seen some big renovations to multiple areas.

The Fair has partnerships with EQT Foundation, Washington Auto Mall, CNX Foundation, as well as Dollar Bank and Diversified Energy for 2024.
