    Hauke edged out, newcomers take the reins on Maury County School Board

    In the Maury County School Board District 2 race, Independent Frank Bellamy won with 609 votes, while Independent Robert Plageman received 313 votes. In District 4, Republican Darryl Martin rose to the top with 644 votes, while Independent Chandler Anderson drew 377 votes.

    District 5 emerged as the closest race with challenger Independent David Moore edging out Independent Justin Hauke of Spring Hill who is fulfilling an unexpired term on the board. Moore's 534 votes narrowly beat Hauke's 517.

    In District 8, Republican Brendan Babcock has come out on top with 823 votes, while Democrat Gregory Hanners drew 304 votes.

    Uncontested races include Sue Stephenson for District 6, and Lesa Webster-Dawson in District 10.
