Team GB have already moved up the medal table on Saturday, building on from a string of golden performances yesterday when Bryony Page completed her Olympic set with a sensational trampolining gold, before Great Britain also took victory in the team jumping final .

The rowing lake has delivered more medals for Team GB on Saturday, as the men’s eight claimed gold after the women’s eight took bronze in their final. Emma Wilson has dominated the windsurfing events this week, but it was a disappointing final and she had to settle for bronze. Great Britain’s tally for the Games stands at 32 medals, after bronze in the dressage team final.

This afternoon Jake Jarman took bronze in the men’s floor final, before Simone Biles won gold in the women’s vault and Max Whitlock looks for the same result in the pommel horse final. Tom Pidcock, who took mountain biking gold earlier this week, is in action in today’s road race, while Zharnel Hughes kicked off his 100m campaign this morning and progressed, while team-mate Louie Hinchcliffe beats Noah Lyles in their heat.
