Mission: Yozakura Family episode 17 recap

Episode 17 of Mission: Yozakura starts with Taiyo waking up in his room and remembering his encounter with the commander. He comes out and meets Mutsumi, who tells him to go back and rest. Mutsumi further informs him she can’t go out due to the recent break-in. However, she asks Nanao to go to school with Taiyo instead. Nanao then reveals his actual appearance to Taiyo.

They arrive at school, and Taiyo is shocked to see him with many friends. Later, Nanao calls Taiyo into the Biology Lab for help as his mutation starts acting up. The latter helps him reverse the mutation. Nanao then shows him the homeostasis vaccine, but if he uses it, he will never be able to return to his original form. Taiyo asks him not to use it and tells him he will watch over him. However, their conversation is interrupted by Nanao’s classmate, who enters to take care of the pets.

While Taiyo helps keep Nanao’s mutation under wraps, Kitasato basilik takes Nanao’s empty capsule, making it berserk. Nanao and Taiyo go and help out. During the mission, Nanao’s mutation is revealed to her as he cures the snake. Nanao and Taiyo then go to the roof, where Nanao tries to take the vaccine, but Taiyo stops him. Kitasato arrives and tells him not to quit the club, which makes him give up the idea. The episode ends with Taiyo and Nanao getting home and seeing everyone passed out after having Mutsumi’s food.
