ALERT DAY conditions return Monday as a low moves through Wisconsin. All severe weather hazards will be possible Monday afternoon into the early overnight hours.
WHAT WE'RE TRACKING :
Scattered storms possible Sunday evening
ALERT DAY: Monday
Mild temperatures stick around next week
PLANNING THE NEXT 24 HOURS: Scattered showers and thunderstorms are going to be possible throughout Sunday evening and overnight. While there is a chance one or two storms could be severe, we'll likely see garden variety storms under mostly cloudy conditions. Temperatures only dip into the low 70s overnight.
EXTENDED FORECA ST : A low pressure system moves through Wisconsin on Monday and brings the southern half of the state a chance for severe weather. While all severe weather hazards will be possible, strong wind gusts, large hail along with minor flooding are the main threats. However, especially farther southwest, there is a chance for a brief, weak tornado or two. These showers and storms will wrap up throughout the mornings hours on Tuesday, leaving generally quiet conditions along with mild temperatures throughout the upcoming work week.
