DENVER ( KDVR ) — The Quarry Fire continued to burn in Jefferson County southwest of Ken Caryl Friday afternoon.
A deputy discovered the fire around 9 p.m. Tuesday along Deer Creek Canyon Road , west of Grizzly Drive.
As of Friday afternoon, the fire had burned more than 480 acres with 10% containment. More than a dozen agencies have responded to help the Inter-Canyon Fire Protection District.
On Friday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said this is an arson investigation and believes it was “human-caused in some manner.”
