DENVER ( KDVR ) — The Quarry Fire continued to burn in Jefferson County southwest of Ken Caryl Friday morning.

A deputy discovered the fire at around 9 p.m. Tuesday along Deer Creek Canyon Road west of Grizzly Drive.

On Friday morning, the fire had burned more than 400 acres with 4% containment. More than a dozen agencies have responded to help the Inter-Canyon Fire Protection District.

On Friday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said this is an arson investigation and believes it was “human-caused in some manner.”

Several Colorado areas under burn restrictions — what does it mean?

GoFundMe has launched a centralized hub where people can find and donate to verified campaigns related to this fire and several others burning in Colorado. You can find that here .

FOX31 has a crew at the Quarry Fire and will provide live updates throughout the day on Friday.
