    K-Drama Reel To Real Life Couples

    Korean dramas has won hearts because of the romantic storylines of love and longing. Fans fall for the on-screen chemistry between the lead characters. And when the on-screen couple becomes real, the audiences are always elated. Some of these reel to real-life K-drama couples include Hyun Bin and Son Ye-Jin, Ji Sung and Lee Bo-Young, and many more.

    While these pairs acted as a romantic couple on-screen, some real-life pairs starred in the same drama but not as couples. For example, Lee Do-Hyun and Lim Ji-Yeon and Kim Woo-Bin and Shin Man-Ah have starred in the same series but not as romantic partners.

    Meanwhile, a few reel to real life couples have dated and married. However, their relationship didn’t last long. For now, let’s take a look at those who are still together.

    Hyun Bin & Son Ye-Jin

    Hyun Bin and Son Ye-Jin starred in the 2019 K-drama, Crash Landing on You. Their chemistry impressed fans and soon they were shipped. In 2021, they confirmed their relationship and on March 31, 2022, the couple tied the knot. They welcomed their first child in November 2022.

    Hyun Bin is a South Korean actor who has worked in dramas, including Memories of Alhambra, Secret Garden, The Snow Queen, Ireland, My Lovely Sam Soon, and Hyde, Jekyll, Me. He has also appeared in movies like The Point Men, Rampant, The Swindlers, The Fatal Encounter, and A Millionaire’s First Love. Meanwhile, Ye-Jin is an award-winning actress with multiple roles at her discord. She is known for her work in Thirty-Nine, Something in the Rain, and Spotlight. Some of her films include The Last Princess, The Truth Beneath and others.

    Ji Sung & Lee Bo-Young

    Ji Sung and Lee Bo-Young featured as an on-screen couple in the 2004 drama, Save the Last Dance for Me. In 2007, they confirmed their relationship, and then again starred together in the 2013 drama, I Can Hear Your Voice. The same year, the two got married and became parents of two.

    Ji Sung is a well-renowned South Korean actor. His work includes dramas like Secret, Kill Me, Heal Me, Defendant, Familiar Wife, and Doctor John. He has also done movies, such as Confession, FengShui, Fate, The Hidden Princess, and Blood Rain. On the other hand, his wife Bo-Young’s projects include Hide, Agency, Mine, When My Love Blooms, More Than Blue (movie), and Mr. Goodbye.

    Lee Do-Hyun & Lim Ji-Yeon

    Lee Do-Hyun and Lim Ji-Yeon are not the perfect examples of reel to real-life K-drama couples. However, they have starred in the same project, from where their love story started. The two actors featured in the 2022 series, The Glory, alongside Song Hye-Kyu. While Do-Hyun plays the lead actress’ love interest, Ji-Yeon essays the antagonist’s role. In 2023, the second installment of the show aired, and in the same year, the pair’s agencies confirmed their relationship.

    Do-Hyun is a versatile actor who has appeared in dramas like Sweet Home, Death’s Game, 18 Again, the Good Bad Mother, Youth of May, and Melancholia. He has recently won an award for his first movie, Exhuma. Meanwhile, his girlfriend Ji-Yeon has worked in K-dramas, including The Killing Vote, Lies Hidden in My Garden, Rose Mansion, and Blow Breeze. She will next be seen in Ji Chang-Wook’s new film, Revolver.

    Kim Woo-Bin & Shin Min-Ah

    Kim Woo-Bin and Shin Min-Ah are a reel to real life couples as they fell for each other during an ad shoot. In 2015, they met during a joint venture as brand ambassadors. While shooting for the brand, they grew closer. In 2022, they appeared in a drama, Our Blues, however, they didn’t play a couple.

    Woo-Bin is a talented actor who has done K-drama, such as Uncontrollably Fond, We Are Young, The Heirs, and Black Night. Min-Ah is known for her work in Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, Oh My Venus, and A Love to Kill.
