    Two people killed in Cayuga County crash

    IRA, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) – Two people are dead after a car crash in Cayuga County.

    According to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office, the two-vehicle crash happened at 6:25, Thursday evening on Ira Hill Road, near the intersection of Farnam Road.

    In a news release, the sheriff’s office said a third person was transported from the scene with serious injuries.

    The sheriff’s office did not give specifics about the crash or release the names of the victims. We’re told more details will be released at a later date.
