The 31-year-old “WAP” rapper’s agent verified on Thursday that she had filed for divorce from her seven-year spouse. Page Six was the first to report the news.

According to reports, Cardi B filed on Wednesday, asking for primary custody of their two children, Wave, age two, and Kulture, age five. The divorce application “is not based on any one particular incident; it has been a long time coming and is amicable,” according to Cardi’s representative.

Following the public announcement of her split, Cardi B shared images on social media of herself in a flowing red gown that exposed her baby bump.
