Angel Reese clapped back amid the tussle between Simone Biles and former Team USA Olympics gymnastics squad member, MyKayla Skinner .

Skinner stirred up a storm with her remarks during a podcast that was later removed , lambasting the Team USA lineup ahead of their victory at the Women's Team event at the Paris Olympics. "Besides Simone, I feel like the talent and the depth just isn't like what it used to be," she opined. "The girls just don't have the work ethic."

Team Biles didn't hold back, taking to social media for a series of sly jabs at Skinner , who'd previously snagged silver in Tokyo. Instagram was set ablaze with Biles' post: "Lack of talent, lazy, olympic champions," captioning a photo of herself with teammates Jordan Chiles, Hezly Rivera, Jade Carey, and Lee flourishing the stars and stripes.

"Put a finger down if Simone Biles just ended you," was Lee's cheeky retort, adding a hand emoji for emphasis. Joining the fray, Chiles, who competed alongside Biles and Lee in Paris, exclaimed: "And that's on period!"

The online scuffle escalated when Skinner blocked Biles. "When she blocks Simone," quipped Chiles. "Oop I've been blocked."

Biles posted, along with an X emoji. WNBA icon Reese piled on, passionately echoing Biles' sentiment on her Insta-finger-pointing, remarking: "Clock it."

Biles scooped her second gold medal of the Paris Games on Thursday in the All-Around competition, boosting her Olympic medal count to nine, including six career golds. The 27-year-old gymnastics icon, often hailed as one of the greatest if not the greatest female gymnasts ever, sported a GOAT necklace during the event.

"It's a little ode...a lot of people love it they always call me the G.O.A.T," she confessed. "I thought it would be really special if I got one made."

"The haters hate it, and I love that even more. It's just a special part of me," Biles continued. After a two-year hiatus from the sport, Biles made a comeback last summer and openly shared with journalists that she has been attending weekly therapy sessions for three years.

"Three years ago, I never thought I'd step foot on the gymnastics floor again just because of everything that had happened," she revealed to the press following her individual all-around victory. "But with the help of [my coach] Cecile [Landi], I got back in the gym and worked really hard mentally and physically."e.

"Even this morning at 7:00 a.m., I saw my therapist. And there's a time change, so she is so amazing for allowing me to do that these couple of days here in Paris."
