Brooks Koepka's cheeky nod to Olympics blow on luxury yacht holiday with wife Jena Sims

Brooks Koepka may not have qualified for this week's Olympic Games in Paris this week, but this has not stopped the LIV Golf star from enjoying his own Olympic-themed holiday.

Team USA has four players competing at Le Golf National in the men's golf event in Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Colin Morikawa and Wyndham Clark. Koepka's fall down the Official World Golf Rnaking (OWGR) amid his loyalties to LIV saw him miss out on the chance to compete.

Despite this, the Smash GC captain has been able to enjoy some down time alongside his wife Jena Sims, with the pair holidaying in Europe following last week's LIV event at JCB Golf & Country Club in the UK.

Whilst yachting in Croatia the pair held their own '2024 Summer Koepka Games', where Koepka was seen sporting some US-style speedos. Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Sims meanwhile was able to show off her gymnastic skills, performing a flip from their boat into the sea.

The five-time major champion was also seen sporting an Olympic ring tattoo at the bottom of his back, with Sims captioning the post: "All mine," accompanied by a love heart emoji. The Koepkas have been making their way around Europe in recent weeks amid Brooks' schedule.

The Smash GC star's European venture began in Spain last month when Koepka competed in the LIV Andalucia event at Valderrama. The former PGA champion finished in a tie for 27th in Andalucia alongside the likes of Phil Mickelson and Henrik Stenson at six-over-par.

It was then onto the final major of the year, as Koepka headed to the UK for The Open Championship at Royal Troon. In testing conditions on the Scottish coast, the American ended the week in a tie for 43rd after shooting eight-over across his four rounds.

His final European event of the season then saw him head south into England, where Koepka captained Smash GC at LIV's new UK home at JCB. The five-time major winner ended the 54-hole tournament at six-under, with his Smash franchise finishing just off the podium in fourth in the team event.

Koepka was unable to make it four events in four in Paris this week, but it is understood that the American withdrew his name from consideration to qualify for the Olympics earlier this year. It would have been a tall order for an LIV star to qualify this year, but according to an ElPeriodiGolf report in March, Koepka informed the International Golf Federation he had no intention of taking part.
