Everything the RHOC Cast Has Said About the Alexis Bellino and Shannon Beador Drama

Alexis Bellino is in love, she’s in love, she’s in love, and she doesn’t care who knows it. Yet, a problem still exists here. Her new man, John Janssen , formally dated Shannon Beador , and Alexis just returned to filming on Real Housewives of Orange County . Several cast members have weighed in on this messy matter, both on-air and off. Overall, many have split feelings on this messy matter.

Gina believes Shannon Beador “lives rent-free” in Alexis Bellino and John’s heads

Gina Kirschenheiter called Alexis out via an interview with Decider. After hearing Alexis suggest that Shannon constantly talks about her new relationship with John, Gina wants Alexis to Uno Reverse her claim. If you ask Gina, Shannon has remained tightly-lipped on these lovers. Alexis, however, has not.

Gina thinks Shannon “lives rent-free” in their heads because “Every time Alexis would come to anything, she would start with this narrative that Shannon has to stop talking about them, and we were like, ‘Shannon is not – she is actively trying not to talk about you. That is her least favorite topic,’” Gina explained. Gina also noted that Shannon is not “trashing” Alexis, neither on camera nor off.

As to why, Gina knows “[Shannon’s] got bigger fish to fry.” Accurate. DUIs and lawsuits are big deals. Therefore, Gina stresses that Shannon is solely “focusing on her health and wellness.”

Oh. Remember when Alexis quipped, “There’s the door, Shannon Beador?” Well, Gina shaded Alexis, stating Alexis “did not just think [that] up … She practiced all that in the mirror before, and that, to me, feels like you are not giving it a fair chance.”

Trying to be fair, Gina also said she does not “wish them [Alexis and John] anything bad.” She only wants everyone involved to move on and shut up.

On this same note, while Gina seems to mostly side with Shannon, her foot will remain on Shannon’s neck this season. Because if anyone understands a dependency on alcohol, it’s Gina. “There were moments this season where I did feel like I doubted [Shannon’s growth], and I did check her,” she stated.

Insert Shereé Whitfield , clapping, “Who ‘gon check me, boo?” For Shannon, the answer is Gina. And I am thankful. Shannon hopefully is as well.

Heather “feels bad” for Shannon Beador

Heather Dubow recently sat down with Access Hollywood for an episode of Housewives Nightcap. Heather is friends with Alexis. Therefore, she has been a major cheerleader on Alexis’ potential return to filming. Showing that this was never a shady desire, Heather noted that these feelings arrived on her end “way before the John Janssen of it all” ever transpired.

Heather is also friends with Shannon. So this is “very complicated.” She wants to be happy for Alexis, yet she “feels so bad that she [Shannon] has to walk into this situation with her exes new girlfriend.”

On John, Heather did tell Alexis “to slow her roll” though. Heather is worried that things are progressing far too quickly.

Tamra thinks John is a “totally different” guy around Alexis Bellino

Tamra Judge is all in on Alexis and John. Speaking to E! News, Tamra explained HER OPINION, noting that Alexis and John are the real deal . With Shannon, Tamra says she and John didn’t “belong together” at all.

Ouch. Albeit fair.

“They seem extremely happy,” Tamra stressed. They’re cute together [and] they have fun together. Their families like each other, and he was never like that with Shannon,” Tamra further explained.

Tamra also revealed that John is a “totally different” person now that he is dating Alexis. When he was with Shannon, “They didn’t travel and their families didn’t like each other.”

Yep. That will kill things quickly.

Emily wants Alexis to act “more respectable” towards Shannon

John is not Emily Simpson’s cup of tea. Alexis hates this. Yet, she also hopes that with time, Emily will change her mind about Johnny J. When Emily appeared on Jeff Lewis Live, Jeff brought up his close pal Shannon, thanking Emily for standing beside Shannon this season on RHOC.

In a clip shared on TikTok by @itsabravoworld, Emily tells Jeff that her support comes down “to just being a human.” Emily could never “imagine being in her [Shannon’s] shoes … having to get up every day and know that John’s name is going to come up.”

“I don’t think so many people would have a problem with her dating John if they just did it in a more respectable way, where it’s like, ‘Yeah, we’re happy. We’re together,” and nothing more.

Jeff agreed. Jeff also stressed that Alexis “is going to die for that guy. Wait til a few years from now, when she figures out who he really is. Season 23 is going to be amazing,” Jeff joked.

Someone bring me a casserole. I’m dying.

Jennifer is “sympathetic” and “loves” both Alexis Bellino and Shannon Beador

Rounding things out, Jennifer Pedranti popped over to US Weekly, and of course, she was also asked about Alexis and Shannon. Jennifer is “sympathetic” to all parties because she “loves” both of these ladies. However, she does wish that Alexis would “read the room,” because her constant talking about John in front of Shannon is hard to endure.

Jennifer also revealed that she has hung out with Alexis and John. They “are on the fast track to forever.” And Shannon is “fine” with this because she is “over John.”

I do get this vibe as well. Shannon is over it. After she works on herself, she will (hopefully) find someone else to dine with at The Quiet Woman .
