Ti West's MaXXXine is now available on digital following its successful run in theaters, where it reaped $19.4 million worldwide from its reported $1 million budget.
Starring Mia Goth, MaXXXine follows Maxine Minx, an adult film star and aspiring actress, who makes her way to Los Angeles in the 1980s, where she finally gets her big break. However, a mysterious killer is terrorising the Hollywood starlets, and it threatens to reveal her sinister past.
Before the film hit theaters, the early reactions from Ti West surprising fans with an early screening called it a "gutsy, gritty and grisly" end that "perfectly rounds out the horror trilogy" .
MaXXXine serves as the final chapter to West's X series, which includes 2022 films X and Pearl , all starring Mia Goth.
X is currently available on VOD, with Pearl available to stream on Prime Video.
