I’ve been eager to try out the brand’s sofas, and when I got the chance to test the 4-Seat Modular Chaise Sectional , I had to see what all the social media hype is about.

Delivery & Setup
After you’ve finally decided on a couch that is just as beautiful to look at as it is enjoyable to lounge around on all day, there’s still the dreaded task of actually getting the enormous piece of furniture into your home. One of the many benefits of a modular sofa is its ability to deconstruct into moveable pieces that makes maneuvering it through your door and stairwell a breeze. If you have a narrow stairway or tricky-shaped room, it’s no problem for this sofa’s modular design.
I live close enough to 7th Avenue’s LA warehouse, so the local delivery team was able to help with setup. 7th Avenue made scheduling a delivery date and time effortless, texting me the morning of to confirm when they would arrive. Truth be told, I had to reschedule my initial delivery date due to a missed flight back to Los Angeles, but the brand rid me of all my worries with an easy rescheduling over the phone.
Setup took just under an hour and I learned how to attach and detach every piece if I choose to reconfigure the couch later.
Comfort
From a purely comfort perspective, 7th Avenue’s cushions strike the precise balance of plush yet supportive for that “cloud-like” feel I had been seeking. Whether you’re in the middle of a Netflix binge session, reading a book, or taking a midday nap, the hype is real. I never want to leave it. In fact, I’m writing this article while perched on it right now.
Pro tip: If your space permits, opt for the Extra-Deep seats to create the most relaxing nest in your living room possible. It provides 47 inches of depth compared to the 39 inches in the Classic option. I immediately fell in love with the deep cushions, experiencing an excitement likened to walking into a movie theatre and finding out your seat reclines.
As the name would suggest, this sectional is endlessly modular and can be re-arranged into different U- or L-shaped designs — including a full rectangle that can work as a bed for guests. Want something even bigger? You can always buy additional pieces rather than having to purchase an entirely new couch.
The movable ottoman has to be my favorite feature of this sectional though. It is finally no longer a question between me and my roommate of who gets the coveted chaise on our old sectional because the ottoman can be centered and shared for mutual comfort.
Performance
7th Avenue sofas are all designed with water and stain-repellent fabrics that are easily removable and washable. Regardless of the fabric color you choose, the cushion covers are all easily spot-cleaned but can also be tossed in the wash. For homes with pets or little ones — or adults who are prone to being a bit clumsy — the 7th Avenue 4-Seat Modular Chaise Sectional is an excellent choice.
You can choose among three fabrics and 10 colors. I chose the dark Charcoal Black hue to complement the iron accents in my home. However, after checking out the brand’s stylish offerings in one of 7th Avenue’s showrooms, I quickly found that their crisp-looking white sofas exceeded all expectations.
While in the showroom, the furniture specialist took a can of Diet Coke and poured it directly onto a couch cushion in the Pure White color. After I audibly screamed out of fear for that pristine fabric, I quickly exclaimed “whoa” as the soda just beaded across the white cushion like a raincoat and easily wiped off onto the floor below. Even if a stain were to somehow leave a trace, I am confident that one run through the wash on a delicate cycle would completely erase any messes from the covers.
Would I Recommend the 7th Avenue 4-Seat Modular Chaise Sectional?
The short answer is absolutely. From the moment it was assembled, I have been absolutely in love with my couch. I’ve owned everything from a Wayfair sectional to a West Elm sleeper sofa , depending on the amount of room (and budget) I had available. The 7th Avenue 4-Seat Modular Chaise Sectional is simply one of the most handsome couches for your space. Plus, it nails the “cloud couch” aesthetic and can grow with your home over the years.
It’s certainly tempting to buy an inexpensive sofa, especially when you have pets or kids, but this 7th Avenue sofa feels like one of the most durable options out there. Available in Pure White, Natural White, Charcoal Black, Oatmeal Beige, Heather Grey and Graphite Grey, this is a piece of furniture that you can hold onto for ages. Don’t forget that the cushion covers are replaceable, so you can always switch up the color and make it feel brand new over and over again.
